Paris Fashion Week SS 2012....Violaine

Violaine Bernard, Fashion Director Velour Magazine, before A Show, Paris, October 2011.

The simple sweetness of a summer sundress.....accessorised with a cute cork clutch and two-tone ballet flats. Oh those French girls: summer, winter, and every season in between - they always get it so very, very right.

Recreate Violaine's pretty summer look (kind of):

Minkpink Uptown girl sundress, Elizabeth and James Gauze summer dress, Thayer chiffon tiered ruffle dress, Jil Sander Zenith bow-front dress, See by Chloe printed silk dress (this one is brilliantly full like Violaine's), See by Chloe Denim bustier dress

Two-tone ballet flats (classic and elegant. always.) - Tory Burch Kaitlin ballet flats, Red Valentino cap toe ballet flats, French Sole glitter toe ballet flats

New York Fashion Week AW 2012...Violaine

Violaine Bernard, Fashion Director Velour Magazine, after Jason Wu, NYC, February 2012.

Recreate Violaine's look (kind of):

Elizabeth and James Evelyn wide-leg trousers (wide) or Rag & Bone leather-trimmed silk-chiffon maxi trousers (super dooper wide)  or Elizabeth and James floral print palazzo pants (so pretty - like wearing a Spring garden on your legs!)

Violaine is quite petite and I think she is a great example of being able to wear the palazzo/wide leg pants trend without being model tall.

Two very winter different skirts.....Not sure of the girl's name in the first photo, but in the second photo is the lovely Violaine Bernard.
